I love this cup ( I have the 32 oz tumbles and I typically use it for hot drinks). Even though the lid is not a screw in, I love this cup lid combo because the lid fit so securely that it actually took some effort to get the lid off. I liked that about it because I was never worried about spilling hot liquid in the car etc. My old lid eventually cracked - still functional but I decided to replace it because it looked funky. I was pleased about the new version with the sleek black slider (I purchased the tumbler four years ago and at the time the lid was made from all clear plastic). However the lid arrived with a rough edge and chip at the mouthpiece. Right where I drink from it has a seam, a rough plastic edge and a small chip despite arriving in undamaged packaging. It appears to be a manufacturing defect. Also, the new replacement lid doesn’t fit as securely as my old one did. I can pop the lid off with one finger. The old lid fit so snugly that I had to use some force. I’m worried about the contents of the cup spilling now which is a hassle. It might be because the lid I received has those defects I mentioned so it doesn’t fit securely like it’s designed to. In any case I’m disappointed because I paid more money for shipping than the lid itself cost, and when I looked into returning and exchanging, in order to return or exchange I would have to pay that high shipping cost again to send the defective lid back! For that amount I could buy a complete new set. Disappointed as this is my go-to mug.

I purchased the XL lid with a slide opener. However I’m very disappointed because the slide does not completely close and will leak if not careful.

Bought these replacemrnts for stained lids. Work great.

They fit my cup perfectly and no leaks.

I have always used a straw with my cups minus wine or hot coffee. however I went thru a couple of weeks of gut issues and needed to refrain from straw use. This is perfect!
