The gasket around the lid would not keep the lid on the cup, too loose, the liquid would spill.

The shape is perfectly comfortable to hold onto, the way it tapers slightly. And it keeps my cup of coffee hot for a good two hours (bc distractions happen). I had a small Yeti mug I was using, but it was hard for me to grip. This Swig tumbler insulates the same while being easy for me to hold and also a lot cuter. I’m a fan!
I made my wine drinking cuter with this glass! Great size, super cute design!
